Application Details:

Enrollment decisions have been made for the 2025-2026 school year.

Prospective families interested in applying for the 2026-2027 school year should fill out an Inquiry Form. Once your Inquiry Form has been received, we will add you to our list and you will be sent an application form via email at the beginning of January. We notify families of the schedules we have available for them shortly after.

Enrollment Priorities:

  • Returning families are enrolled first, followed by siblings and legacies, and then new families.

Schedule Options:

We enroll children for:

  • Full days (8:30am to 3:15pm) OR

  • Mornings (8:30am to 12:00pm, with pickup before lunch).

  • Schedule options ranging from three mornings to four full days.

We strive to create a well-balanced group as we develop our class list. We consider your scheduling requests and the availability of space. Quarry Hill School does not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, disability, creed, gender, or a parent’s marital status or gender identity. We do our best to accommodate all of your requests. If we are unable to accommodate your child for the upcoming school year, we will contact you and place your child on our waiting list (unless you request that they not be on it). We will contact families to offer a spot for their child at Quarry Hill School as space becomes available. Thank you for your interest and understanding.

Our program is designed for and is most successful for children 3-6 years old. Our expectation is that children will be 3 and toilet-trained when they begin Quarry Hill School. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis, depending on circumstance and available space.

Tuition

Tuition for the academic year is based on 35 weeks of school. Quarry Hill School partners with the local public school districts as an approved Vermont Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program. All children who attend who are 3, 4, or 5 by September 1st receive public funding for 10 hours of preschool each week. Parents/Guardians are responsible for additional tuition. If a child turns 6 during the school year, their PreK funding ends and tuition becomes the responsibility of the family.

2025-2026 tuition rates. Tuition is contracted after we receive your application and a schedule is confirmed. Your deposit is due July 1, 2025 and confirms your child's enrollment at Quarry Hill School. The remaining balance will be 9 equal payments, due the 10th of each month, September 2025 - May 2026. If your family qualifies for VT State Child Care subsidy payments your invoice will reflect tuition support you receive from the state and any remaining balance due. We request that every family investigate this funding source. It provides valuable supports for both families and our organization.
